10 New Testament stories just for kids under 5

When I began writing the Great Big Bible Story Walkthrough, one question that surfaced early and often was: will there ever be stories for kids under 5?

Today’s the day for 10 New Testament stories!

What’s inside?

A bundle of 10 New Testament stories that point to an expression of God’s goodness. Each one has

• A paraphrase of the Bible story.

• “Special Words” close each story--this short sentence names one attribute of God’s from the story.

• A Story Poem that sums up the plot with a fun rhyme.

• Two response ideas to play, imagine, make, or move.

• Menu style, as always: Use what you like, skip what you don’t need!

• Each story is already part of the GBBW, so you can search up the commentary page for it, if you’d like.

Yes! Lots of churches and school groups use the GBBW, either on its own or as a baseline for their writing.

For the Preschool Pack, there are two options.

OPTION 1 - If you’re a church leader and want to use the GBBW resources for ministry, just update to a Church Use Subscription for permission.

It’s less than $5/week, plus there are fun bonuses—like quarterly workshops and a link to the Church Chat calendar where we can talk about whatever you’d like!

Individual subscriptions are for individual use only. The Church Use Subscription gives groups (church or otherwise) permission to use the GBBW in whatever way serves their communities. It works like the licensing agreements for curriculum.

OPTION 2 -If you’re a group leader and want just the Preschool Pack, you can buy that alone in the shop — just select your group size.

You can, actually! I get it - you may not have older kids or need the full GBBW subscription, for instance. So, yes, the 25 stories we have (10 OT, 10 NT, and Christmas) are now in the Kids + Faith Resource Shop!
